Pull economy basics
Agents are math before they are meta. Here's how to know — before a banner drops — whether your account can afford the worst case, and what "saving for a guarantee" actually means in polychromes.

Quick answer
A guaranteed rate-up S-rank costs at most 180 pulls' worth of currency (90 pity × 2 if the 50/50 loses); the expected cost is far lower. Budget for the worst case, treat anything less as profit, and run your exact pity through the pull planner — it converts your position into odds and a currency number.
The three costs
| Outcome | Worst-case pulls | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky 50/50 win | 1 – 90 | The dream; usually early-pity luck |
| Lose 50/50, win guarantee | up to 180 | The number your budget must survive |
| Expected (model average) | ~107 per rate-up | What long-run averages say [model estimate] |
Income rules of thumb
- Dailies + events are the floor. Login-and-clear play accrues a steady trickle per patch [NEEDS DATA for exact per-patch figures — track your own income].
- Track your own account. Your pull history is the only honest income model; the planner's browser-only storage keeps a running tally without any account link.
- F2P supports roughly one guaranteed S-rank per patch when nothing is banked — two if you skipped the previous banner. Treat that as the planning ceiling, not a promise.
Budget workflow
- Enter pity and guarantee status in the pull planner.
- Read the polychrome number — that's your worst-case reserve for this banner.
- Subtract what you actually hold; the gap is what dailies and events must cover before the banner ends.
- If the gap is unwinnable, decide now: skip and bank the guarantee, or accept a 50/50.
